Not many mad scientist artists would think of putting together orchestral sounds with a rugged bassline and even harps, but Paul Woolford pulls it off perfectly here. Fendi and Givenchy played these for their fashion shows in different years, and while music crosses over to different cultural contexts and takes on a life of its own, as Paul Woolford says, while the music is no longer his own and out there, this is undeniably a Paul Woolford production. Few tracks get the party going like First Casualty. A staple in so many sets since way before its release, it gives great joy and euphoria, while being bold and dynamic. This record proved to be the start of something special for Nathan Micay. Props for the 24-bit quality and hats off to Whities for another gem. Edward
